Get in touch

Fill in the form with what you've got and roughly where it is. A real person reads every message and will get back to you with a quote or a call to confirm the details.

From message to payment

How getting a quote and pickup works

Short answer, describe what you've got, get a rough number, then a pickup or drop-off is arranged. Payment happens once your scrap is checked. Mention anything unusual upfront, a rooftop unit, a bulk load, a gate code, so the right truck and enough hands turn up on the day.

  1. Send the details

Call, message through the form, or drop by in person with a rough idea of what you've got and where it is.

  2. Get a rough quote

Based on the type, amount and condition of your scrap. A firm price is confirmed once it's seen on the day.

  3. Book pickup or drop-off

We fit around your schedule, whether that's home, a work site or a rental property.

  4. Scrap checked

Your load is weighed, sorted or assessed, with any hazardous items like batteries or gas-filled units handled by trained staff.

  5. Get paid

Payment happens once everything's checked, in most cases on the spot.

One call covers all of it

What to have ready for your scrap sale

Every scrap metal transaction in NSW is regulated, so there are a couple of things worth sorting out before a truck arrives or you drop something off. Registered dealers, us included, are required to see valid photo ID for every sale and to record the details of the transaction. This isn't extra paperwork for the sake of it, it's there to stop stolen metal being sold on, which protects legitimate sellers as much as anyone.

Payment is another thing worth knowing ahead of time. Cash isn't a legal payment method for scrap metal in NSW, so payment is made by bank transfer or another traceable method instead. Having your bank details ready on the day means there's no delay once your scrap has been checked and weighed.

  • Bring valid photo ID to every transaction, no exceptions.
  • Have bank details ready, since cash payment for scrap isn't legal in NSW.
  • Mention access details, gate codes or timing constraints when you book.

It's a strong estimate based on what you describe. A final price is confirmed once your scrap is seen, weighed or checked on the day, since type, condition and current market rates all play a part.

Not always. If access to the scrap doesn't need you present, arrangements can be made. It's best to mention this when booking so it can be sorted out in advance.

Valid photo ID is required for every transaction, no exceptions. Have your bank details ready too, since NSW law doesn't allow cash payment for scrap metal.
