Got scrap metal lying around and not sure what to do with it? Aluminium, copper, brass, steel, old car parts, batteries or a broken AC unit, we'll weigh it, buy it and pay you the same day. Homes, farms, job sites and factories are all welcome, drive it in or book a pickup.
We're local scrap metal buyers with years of hands-on experience. People come back because we pay fairly, work fast, and take almost every type of scrap, ferrous and non-ferrous alike.
Drive your scrap to our yard, or book our mobile pickup service if that's easier. Either way, we handle the heavy lifting and pay you right after your scrap is weighed. We also help local businesses and builders with bigger clean-ups, need a bin for an ongoing job? We can drop one off, and collect it once it's full.
From aluminium rims to copper wire, we buy a wide range of scrap metal. Not sure if something on your list qualifies? Just call and describe it.
Contact us or request a quote online, it's the same process whether you're dropping off or booking a pickup.
Aluminium, copper, brass, steel, batteries, AC units, whatever you're clearing out.
A rough figure based on type, amount and current market rates.
We collect your scrap, or you bring it to our yard, whichever suits you better.
Your scrap is weighed accurately so the final price reflects exactly what you've brought in.
Payment is made by bank transfer once everything's checked, no waiting around for a cheque or a follow-up call.
Copper and brass generally pay the most per kilo, steel the least, with aluminium and car parts somewhere in between.
Prices move with the market, so treat this as a general idea rather than a locked-in rate. Copper pipe and wire, both bare and insulated, typically sit at the top of the scale. Aluminium (rims, cans, sheet) and brass (taps, fittings) usually pay well too. Steel, being heavier and more common, pays the least per kilo but adds up fast in volume. Car parts like batteries and compressors sit in the middle, depending on condition.
Exact figures aren't published here because they shift week to week with global metal markets. Call for current pricing before you load up, especially for a large or mixed load.
Sorting isn't required, our team can handle it, but doing a rough sort at home speeds things up and can mean a better price for mixed loads.
A magnet is the easiest way to tell ferrous from non-ferrous metal. Iron and steel stick to a magnet, copper, aluminium and brass don't. Keeping these separated into different containers or piles before you arrive means less sorting time at the yard, and it's a useful habit if you're a tradie or business generating scrap regularly.
Not every job fits in the back of a ute in one trip. For renovations, demolitions or workshops generating scrap over time, a skip bin can be dropped off so you can fill it at your own pace. Once it's full, call us and we'll collect and weigh the load.
Prefer to stay put? Our mobile pickup service covers homes, farms, businesses and job sites across the Central Coast. We come to you, weigh on site, and pay by bank transfer once everything's checked, no need to transport anything yourself.
Almost everything metal is welcome, with one common exception.
We don't buy or collect used fridges. For fridges, Central Coast Council's kerbside and waste facility services are the better option, since fridges need specific handling for refrigerant gas that falls outside what we offer. Everything else on our accepted list, aluminium, copper, brass, steel, car parts, batteries, AC units and wire, we're glad to take.
We cover Gosford, Wyong, Woy Woy, Toukley and the suburbs around them, with pickups extending across the wider Central Coast region.
Every scrap metal sale in NSW, Central Coast included, requires valid photo ID from the seller. It's standard practice for a registered dealer, and it keeps the industry honest for everyone selling legitimate scrap.
Payment isn't made in cash. Under the Scrap Metal Industry Act 2016 and the Scrap Metal Industry Regulation 2024, registered dealers in NSW have to pay by a traceable method, so bring your bank details along with your ID and you'll be paid by transfer once your items are checked.

Drive in with your load, book a pickup, or ask about a skip bin for a bigger job. Bring photo ID and your bank details, and you'll be paid once everything's checked.
A wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous metal, including copper, aluminium, brass, steel, car parts, batteries, air conditioners and electric wire. If you're unsure whether we take something, just call and describe it.
We pay. Once your scrap is weighed and checked, payment is made by bank transfer the same day. Some services on the Central Coast only offer free removal without paying you, so it's worth checking that detail before you book with anyone.
Type of metal, weight, condition and current market rates. Copper and brass generally pay more per kilo than steel, since they're worth more on the recycling market. Call for a rough figure before you load up.
It helps, but it's not required. Separating ferrous metal like steel from non-ferrous metal like copper and aluminium speeds up weighing, and a magnet is an easy way to tell them apart at home if you want to sort first.
Yes. If you've got an ongoing job or a big clean-out, a skip bin can be dropped off so you can fill it over time, then we collect and weigh it when you're ready.
Availability can extend beyond standard weekday hours for larger jobs, unlike a lot of local scrap merchants who are Monday to Friday only. Call to check what can be arranged for your timing.
